A Controversial San Jacinto Book

MIchelle talks with Dr. Stephen Hardin about editing and annotating a controversial Texas history pamphlet: Robert M. Coleman's Houston Displayed, 1837. This was the publication that kicked off a wave of anti-Houston sentiment that divides Texans to this day. Was it Houston's tactical genius that won the Battle of San Jacinto? Coleman was there and said no.

Dr. Hardin's annotated edition of Houston Displayed (shown in this video) is available from the publisher here: https://smu.nbsstore.net/houston-displayed-or-who-won-the-battle-of-san-jacinto
